Studies with athletes have shown that the motivational climate is related to cohesion taken from; Balaguer, Castillo, Moreno, Garrigues, and Soriano of 2004, communication style taken from; Torregrosa, Sousa, Viladrich, Villamarin, and Cross of 2008, and guidance towards a goal taken from; Reyes, 2009. Similarly, studies have shown that state anxiety is negatively related to Flow, López Torregrosa, and Rock of 2007 and cognitive intensity taken from; Fuentes and Calvo of 2011. On the other hand, authors like Todd and Brown; 2003 and Brevers, Dan and Noel; 2011 reported a positive relationship between athletic identity and superstitions. In addition, Todd and Brown; 2003 indicated that athletes with a high external locus of control and superstitious behaviors used Brevers, Dan and Noel; 2011 noted that women were more likely to be superstitious and others results. The author of this study evaluated the possible relationship between the variables mentioned above. In this investigation, participated N equal to 111 athletes of Taekwondo, men n equal to 56 and women n equal to 55. The analysis of variables ANOVA revealed that the age of the athletes is not related to state anxiety F equal to 0.275; F equal to 0.005; P less than 0.05. A relationship between age and trait anxiety athletes F equal to 2.113; F equal to 0.005; P less than 0.05 also was not confirmed. On the other hand, there was no relationship between the use of superstitions of athletes and state anxiety F equal to 0.536; F equal to 0.005; P less than 0.05. Also, it was evident that there is no relationship between the superstitions of athletes and trait anxiety F equal to 2.581; F equal to 0.005; P less than 0.05. Furthermore, there was no relationship between the orientation towards a goal and state anxiety F equal to 2.116; F equal to 0.005; P less than 0.05 and trait anxiety F equal to 1.113; F equal to 0.005; P less than 0.05. Likewise, there was no relationship between an orientation towards a task and state anxiety F equal to 0.955; F equal to 0.005; P less than 0.05 or trait anxiety F equal to 0.559; F equal to 0.005; P less than 0.05. It is imperative that future investigations further develop the concept of superstitions while evaluating other variables.en
