dc.descriptionAccording to statistics developed by the Institute for Children and the Family (INFA) and the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES), the rates of sexual abuse in Ecuador have increased due to the incessant social insecurity and variability of the factors of risk that precede the victims. In the investigation, no specific studies were found in which each of the risk factors that would increase the probability of a child being sexually abused is clearly described. The investigation was carried out with 21 cases taken from the Prosecutor is Office of Pichincha, Unit of Attention to the Victim, focused mainly on boys and girls between the ages of 5 - 9 years; The theoretical perspective of the present investigation was systemic theory, the type of design used was descriptive-exploratory with a qualitative approach.en
