Resumen : La idea del negocio se basa en constituir una empresa importadora y comercializadora de prendas de vestir para mujeres jóvenes en la ciudad de Quito. Sandtex S.A. creará y patentará la marca VALENTINA, la cual ofrecerá calidad, originalidad y comodidad en cada una de sus colecciones, pues el talento y la creatividad de los diseñadores ecuatorianos se verán reflejados en las prendas a ofertarse. Para la fabricación de la ropa que llevará la marca VALENTINA se contratará empresas manufactureras en el exterior, iniciando las operaciones con el país vecino Colombia, un país que ha demostrado un constante crecimiento y evolución en el mundo de la moda. El análisis del entorno se enfoca en la Industria textil del Ecuador, específicamente en la balanza comercial, cuyo crecimiento se ha mantenido en las importaciones de prendas de vestir, a pesar de las medidas proteccionistas aplicadas por el gobierno actual a cada una de las partidas arancelarias correspondientes a prendas de vestir y demás derivados textiles. La aceptación y preferencia por marcas de ropa reconocidas en los consumidores quiteños, es un factor que motiva a la constitución de SANDTEX S.A y a la creación de su marca VALENTINA, cumpliendo siempre con la misión de la empresa, "ofrecer prendas vestir de alta calidad con diseños exclusivos y tendencias de última moda, satisfaciendo las necesidades del mercado objetivo al momento de vestir. La imagen de la marca estará respaldada por los distintos planes estratégicos de marketing que se apliquen, buscando cumplir con el objetivo principal, posicionar la marca en el mercado elegido. SANDTEX S.A. contará con dos socios capitalistas y un equipo administrativo que estará encargado de gestionar y supervisar las actividades de Gerencia, Marketing, Logística y Finanzas; además de sus asistentes para cada área de la empresa. Como pilar fundamental, dos diseñadores de moda, expertos en su área, serán los protagonistas de analizar las tendencias actuales y adaptar un estilo propio a la marca. El análisis financiero a cinco años proyecta USD 200.000 de inversión inicial, compuesta por un 80 por ciento de crédito bancario y 20 por ciento de capital de trabajo propio, muestra la viabilidad del proyecto tanto para el escenario esperado, optimista y pesimista, con un VAN y TIR positivos y una tasa de descuento mayor al costo de oportunidad. Se concluye que el negocio propuesto es financieramente atractivo y viable.
Descripción : The business idea is based on the creation and legalization of importing and marketing apparel for young women in the city of Quito. Sandtex S.A. will create and patent VALENTINA Brand; which will offer quality, originality and comfort, within each of their collections. In turn the talent and creativity of the Ecuadorian designers will be reflected in the garments that will be available for purchase. For the manufacturing of clothing, VALENTINA brand will be hiring foreign manufacturers and beginning talks with neighboring Colombia; a country that has shown a steady growth and evolution in the fashion world. The environment analysis focuses on the Textile Industry of Ecuador. Specifically in the trade balance whose growth has remained in apparel imports, despite protective measurements implemented by the current government, by means of tariffs for clothing textiles and other derivatives. The acceptance and preference for recognized clothing brands in consumers of Quito, is a motivating factor for the birth of Sandtex S.A. and creating their brand VALENTINA. Always fulfilling the mission of company, “to provide high quality dress clothes with exclusive designs and latest fashion trends” meeting the needs of the target market at the time of selecting their garments. The image of the brand will be supported by various strategic marketing plans that will be applied in order to fulfill the main objective; positioning the brand in the target market. SANDTEX S.A. will have two associates and a management team that will be responsible for managing and supervising the activities of Management, Marketing, Accounting and Finance; plus provide with their assistants for each area of the company. As a fundamental pillar, two fashion designers with expertise in their field will view and analyze the current trends and adapt their own style to the brand. The five-year financial analysis projects a USD 200,000 initial investment; comprising 80% of bank credit and a 20% personal capital. The viability of the project shows both the expected scenario; optimistic and pessimistic, with a positive NPV and IRR, and a discount rate greater than the opportunity cost. It is concluded that the proposed business is financially attractive and viable.
