| dc.description | This project was born from the great affection and interest by the Author for the segment to which it is directed "SENIORS" because they are the people who have worked all their lives to bring up their children, grandchildren and so on. So that, when they get older they could receive what they deserve; the best, relaxing and enjoying simple pleasures while being active and healthy. The major goal of this study and investigation was to test the possibility of creating an entertainment and recreation center for the elderly in the city of Quito. After having conducted an investigation, this is a project with promising success and high expectations. It was determined that this business will focus on providing various services such as dance therapy, yoga, craft room, board games, books and discussions about several topics such as these are the activities that meet the tastes and needs of the target group, that mostly what they crave is to share with people of their own age and social circle. Studies show that they feel alone when they reach a certain old age. The financial projections that were made in this project, estimate positive values for the company, which gives the pattern that this is a profitable business that can be carried out with the high expectations in becoming a successful business. | en |
