dc.description | The present business plan aims to determinate the operational and financial feasibility and market viability for the implementation of a business plan focused on the production and commercialization of childrens furniture made of recycled material boards (Tetrapak) in Quito city in order to raise awareness among families of the city about the fact that the use of these recycled materials contribute to the care and preservation of the environment. The plan is based on the new houses and offices interior design trends and it has originated the creation of innovational, extravagant and striking furniture. In base of this, a market study was done in which the business will be developed. In this way, a PEST analysis was done to identify the general environment factors where the economic activity will be developed. Moreover, a PORTER analysis was done in order to identify the opportunities and threads that could affect the implementation of the project. In addition, the previously mentioned studies results were examined using the matrix EFE execution which determined the level in which they affect the most relevant factors. In the other hand, the market investigation was done in order to identify the clients market niche where to aim the product and at the time to determinate the necessities, preferences and likeness of them. Based on the results, the Products differentiation was chosen as the marketing strategy putting emphasis on the eco friendly characteristics that it has. Finally, the projects financial evaluation was done based on five years long projections. For this purpose, it was stablished a proper capital of 70 percent and percent of debt and the average inflation from the years 2015 through 2018 as the growth factor for the expenditures, costs and incomes.
