Descripción : The present project is considered a viable and profitable business. In the market there exist only one company which is dedicated to the cultivation of oyster-shrimp, therefore, we wish to take advantage of this situation and the technical support offered by CENAIM to entrepreneurs that wish to contribute to the Ecuadorian economy. The surrounding circumstances were analyzed in order to identify strengths and weaknesses that may positively or negatively influence the development of the project. Through the market research t it was determined that and consumers of oysters are people that visit, clubs, hotels, and luxury restaurants and the target market are first class hotels and restaurants in Quito and Guayaquil. The mission and vision are focused on the satisfaction of local and foreign clients, encouraging the fulfillment of principles and values for the development of the company. The experts interviewed indicated that the cultivated oysters that are sold in Ecuador are imported from Chile, for this reason the company will offer cultivated oysters in shrimp pools, that are quite different from the afore mentioned , having the Ecuadorian oyster an excellent flavor. In addition one of the objectives pursued by the company is to promote the preservation of marines species that are immoderately extracted from the sea. The oyster will be commercialized fresh in its shell having a size of approximately 8cmm; the size according to consulted expert is the standard decided by the end consumer. The product will be positioned with sampling, tasting, and promotions directly made in the major hotels and restaurants of Quito and Guayaquil. The financial analysis was realized for five years, under scenes with loan and without loan, in both cases the project is viable, nevertheless the best option is VII the indebtedness since under the normal scene with loan the TIR is of 81.5% and VAN of USD 41.377. The project requires of an initial investment of USD. 57.739 Which will be covered with 65% by the contribution with partners and 35% by means of banking credit.
