Descripción : Actually the equine dental pathologies they are not registered and they are not clearly identified in some environments, so the main objective of the present study is to determinate the frequency of presentation of pathologies of the equine oral cavity and the relation with demographic variables by reviewing of dental reports and patients records belonging to the U.E.R 2018. This work will carry out an observational retrospective study modality, checking 84 dental records for collection of study data such as: pathologies, breeds, age and gender of the individuals. The ages was classified by categories: young (3-6 years), adult (7-12 years), and geronte (older than 13 years), and individuals of breed was taken into account: Argentinian, Argentinian chair horse, half blood, Creole, Argentinian Tambo and Hanoverian. For this investigation was used an descriptive and analytical statistic. The study population includes 84 animals which 61 was male and 23 was females. The results showed that the breed with the highest predisposition to suffer dental pathologies was the Argentinian breed followed by the Argentinian chair breed, Half blood, Creole,Argentinian Tambo and Hanoverian; while , gender, it was found that adult males are mostly predisposed to the presentation of these pathologies. Being that at the end of the study was reported 13 pathologies with a frequency of 219 times throughout 2018. Furthermore, there is not significant statistical relation between the variables and the pathologies mentioned above. The use of a dental chart or odontogram was recommended when treating dental problems for the first time.
