| Descripción : | knowledge together with methodologies to arrive at a functional solution for users and the problem posed. The problem that the project focuses on is the homogenization of souvenir within the tourism sector, specifically the Historic Center of Quito. Nowadays souvenir face a lack of patrimonial and cultural essence, that is, the loss of meanings has become a production of figurative or aesthetic products with a shortage of a message or interaction with the customer. The search for a cultural differentiator that allows us to be recognized by a more realistic identity. In this way the elements can be shown from a more abstract perspective and with a more personal essence. It seeks to improve the communication and interaction of the elements with the space and people, for the development of the project the User-Centered Design UCD and the sensory Design are used as key elements for the development of the proposals, in addition to a research on types of heritage, a study of competition and analysis on the perception of international, national and local tourists regarding the Historic Center of Quito. All this in order to materialize the solution resulting in a system of portable elements that transmit the heritage essence of the historic center of Quito through local production, in addition to seeking this cultural differentiator, an opportunity is sought to reactivate local work and tourism due to the COVID-19 pandemic. |
