Descripción : In the city of Quito is very well known the high risk that represents to transport on bicycle, and using it as a principal mean of transportation, because of the high levels of accidents and fatalities of cyclists on the streets. According to statistics obtained by the Metropolitan Transit Agency (AMT), between January and October of 2017,87 accidents were registered and 4 people deceased, and i2018, during the same time period, 75 accidents were registered, and 2 people deceased. (El Comercio, 2018) For this, a product that improves the visibility of cyclists is created, that differentiates from all the other illumination accessories for cyclists that exist today, using uncommon materials like photoluminescence, to attract the attention of the transit actors, and principally to make the cyclist more visible. The common problem that most of this kind of products have, is that they can provoque a glare that can blind drivers and pedestrians, especially if they have a high intensity light, and also if they are strobe lights. To reduce this problem, a product is designed that instead of aiming the light only to the front or to the rear, forms a crossed direction illumination, which means that the rear light aims to the front, and the front light aims to the back, illuminating the cyclist in the point which both light beams cross. This would help to amplify the cyclist illuminated area like neon lights under a car, aiming inside and downwards, this turns the cyclist into a illuminated mobile space, more visible at a great distance, and very flashy. To give it a visibility of 360 degrees it comes with adhesives with photo luminescent properties. They recharge with the ultraviolet light, as the tire turns, the photo luminescent material recharges at the same time until it gets to its brighter point. This way when the cyclist stops, is still visible, meanwhile the adhesive starts losing brightness gradually, until the cyclist starts pedaling again.
