Descripción : To analyze the effect of the application of the Bad Ragaz technique on joint extension of elbow extension and elbow functionality in patients aged 30 to 60 years with sequelae of a flexor pattern due to an stoke of the "Hermano Miguel Quito" Foundation. In this study 12 adult patients with sequela of CVD of the Hermano Miguel Foundation with elbow flexor pattern will be recruited. All the participants will be divided into two groups, one called the control group that will be made up of 6 participants, to whom a physiotherapy program will be applied to increase the joint range of elbow extension, traditional physical therapy through the application of techniques such as massage. relaxing and discontracting in biceps, stretching, FNP techniques in elbow extension together with triceps brachial tapping technique and muscle strengthening in triceps brachii; all this in a total of 10 sessions in five weeks. And the second group called experimental, which will be made up of the other 6 remaining participants, to whom the same physical therapy program will be applied to the control group plus hydrotherapy using the Baz Ragaz technique, in a total of 10 sessions in five weeks. Statistically significant results were evidenced in: the analysis to repetitive measures of ANOVA, to evaluate the support of the pain in the extension of the elbow, by means of the Analog Visual Scale VAS in patient with stroke, the main results of the group were visualized with result of P is equal 0.240, The analysis that was performed through repetitive measures of ANOVA, to assess the coordination of the upper limb with the Fugl-Meyer scale in adult patients with stroke, showed a significant improvement of p is equal 0.007 , between superior limb coordination in the pre and upper limb coordination in the post for the control group and the experimental group experimental group and the results of the joint extension of the upper limb for elbow extension in adult patients with stroke, showed an improvement of p is equal 0.007, between the joint width of the upper limbs for elbow extension in the pre and the joint width of the upper limb to elbow extension in the post for the control group and the experimental group. The results of this study show that when applying the Bad Ragaz technique it can be evidenced that adults with stoke of the Hermano Miguel Foundation have experienced a clinical improvement in the range of flexion-extension, decreasing pain and in terms of functionality we obtained movements coordinated.
