| Descripción : | The objective of this investigation was to evaluate the development of the flower, in a phenological view, using the BBCH scale every seven days. The data was registered by using a field notebook and photos from 21 selected plants of babaco (Vasconcellea pentagona), which were cultivated in a greenhouse. From these plants, 134 flowers were randomized selected for the phonological evaluation. This study was developed from March 31th 2017 to 34th March 2018 with an average temperature or 15. 24 degrees C (59.43 degrees F). Four phonological phases were identified using the BBCH scale: Emergence of the BBCH inflorescence: 5; 2) Flowering BBCH: 6; 3) BBCH fruit development: 7; 4) Maturation of the BBCH fruit: 8. Having this development a duration of 357 days duration from the yolk in latency until the ripening of the fruit. This process was influenced by thermal units too. |
