Descripción : Since 2008, the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador takes disability as a priority because it guarantees “disability prevention policies and, jointly with society and the family, will seek the equalization of opportunities for people with disabilities and their social integration". This research proposes to show the different problems that afflict people living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Ecuador. One of them is visible in the educational field where teachers are not trained to understand the reality of these children and to accept their condition. In addition, it is necessary that the attention of a student with special educational needs be personalized to develop effective curricular adaptations. Another difficulty is in the family environment, where the support of parents and acceptance that their child has a disorder is essential and should be treated as such so that it can develop satisfactorily in society. Also an obstacle of these people is in the diagnosis, because if they do not perform an early analysis, it is possible that the child can not develop their skills satisfactorily. It is essential to take advantage of the first three years of the child's life because they have more nerve connections that facilitate the work of supporting them so that they can face the world. Another objective of this research work is to show that specialists are a guide on how to treat this child in a daily life, to empower, achieve their highest level of development, in the midst of this condition. Finally, the research found that the gear between society, family and school must ensure adequate development so that a person with Autism Spectrum Disorder can face life.
