dc.descriptionThe next paper will conduct research on the creation of male characters in film, through three main sources that analyze the masculinity, look of man at female characters in film and the relationship of this in audiovisual treatment with Ecuadorian films and patriarchal society. The creation processes are also identified in the short film Chocolate con ají and its context and its look are analyzed, in order to identify and decipher the gender stereotype than exists in cinematic narratives based on two specific films and find a space to dialogue with the new masculinities on and off the big screen.en
dc.description.abstractEn el siguiente trabajo se realizará una investigación sobre la construcción de personajes masculinos en el cine, a través de tres fuentes principales que analicen la masculinidad, la mirada del hombre sobre los personajes femeninos en el cine y la relación de esto en el tratamiento audiovisual con películas ecuatorianas y con la sociedad patriarcal. Asimismo, se identifican los procesos de creación en el cortometraje Chocolate con ají y se analiza su contexto y su mirada, con el objetivo de identificar y descifrar el estereotipo de género que existe en las narraciones cinematográficas en base a dos películas específicas con el fin de buscar un espacio para dialogar con las nuevas masculinidades dentro y fuera de la pantalla grande.es_ES
