The present study had which objective the evaluation of vaccines antibodies against Infectious Bronchitis in backyard birds by means of serological tests, in a property of Checa, being the reason for this investigation the observation of problems and losses that are suffered within the non-technical breeding of birds of creole lineage due to avian pathologies, including Avian Infectious Bronchitis. After having verified the quality of the two vaccines against Infectious Bronchitis used in the study, the response of pre and post vaccination antibodies in birds older than four weeks was evaluated, through the Indirect ELISA test. The population considered in this study was 90 birds separated into three groups: group 1 was inoculated with the vaccine alone, group 2 with the bivalent vaccine and the control group without vaccine, evaluating the antibody titer at 4 different times, day 0, 7, 14, 21, in order to evaluate the development of the antibody response over time. There was a significant increase in the amount of antibodies against the Infectious Bronchitis virus after vaccination in groups 1 and 2, while in unvaccinated birds there was no significant difference; therefore, the relevant conclusion is that there is a positive relationship between the inoculation of the vaccine and the development of antibodies against Infectious Bronchitis and there is no circulating field virus in the environment. Evidenced a significant increase of the amount of antibodies against Infectious Bronchitis virus after vaccination in groups 1 and 2, while, in unvaccinated birds there was no significant modification throughout the experiment; Therefore, we can conclude that there is a positive relationship between the inoculation of the vaccine and the development of antibodies against Infectious Bronchitis and there is no circulating field virus in the environment.en
