Descripción : This research work aims at identity and culture management at the Instituto Tecnológico Superior Libertad (ITSL), for the creation of communication processes that allow to install in the institution a culture of communicational crisis prevention. The ITSL is an institution that has more than 10 years in the technical and technological education sector of the city of Quito, but it does not have a crisis planning to prevent any risk of image and reputation. Preserving the image is important since today companies are not only recognized by the product or service they offer, but the image and reputation in itself of each company is an important icon of reference to society. In view of this, it is necessary for ITSL to acquire a culture of crisis prevention in order to preserve its image and reputation in the face of adverse situations which may arise and which, in the absence of the necessary planning, could significantly affect the image and reputation of the institution. The methodology used for this study was as follows: bibliographic and data collection; field work through teacher, administrative and student surveys; as well as interviews with managers, in order to determine the sense of belonging on the part of collaborators, teachers and students regarding the organization. Likewise, we worked with intangibles such as identity and culture to know the state of these within the institution. With all this bibliographic research, data, field and development of intangibles, the aim is to design a value proposition for ITSL; in particular, the implementation of a crisis prevention manual that allows for the application of a culture of prevention within the institution in case of adverse situations, as well as a strategic plan that meets the needs of the organization and helps consolidate its corporate philosophy.
