| Descripción : | The urban plan carried out in the POU project workshop, 2019, established that “to achieve optimal urban / spatial development for the city, it is pertinent to strengthen community relations at the neighborhood level, because in the study area of the Larrea and Santa neighborhood Clara, there is a shortage of neighborhood-scale equipment in terms of social welfare, for this reason the creation of the Senior Center located in the Larrea neighborhood is proposed, which is intended for the service and care of older adults in the neighborhood. The architectural project is based on three types of spatial configurations (classroom, porch and enclosure), which respond according to the spatial characteristics required by the program, which is divided by three longitudinal blocks that are transversely connected by two blocks of circulation. The decision to generate three types of blocks is due to the fact that the lot has three different fronts (Av. América, Caracas street and Versalles street). In addition, each block has a direct entry into the plant, generating greater physical and visual permeability in the sector, it also has a configuration of three courtyards located centrally to each block, which allows to improve the spatial relationships within the equipment and also It allows natural lighting and ventilation of the surrounding spaces. The architectural project is resolved, according to urban, architectural, functional, regulatory, constructive, structural and environmental terms. In which the elderly are involved in a decent environment for their development, favoring their self-sufficient and healthy aging. |
