| Descripción : | Endodontics treats the conditions of the pulp, but above all it plays a very important role in the preservation of the teeth, therefore, one of the most outstanding objectives in endodontic therapy is to achieve absolute cleaning of the root canals, by This reason intra-duct medication is a basic complement to ensure endodontic success. Objective: To identify the intra-conductive medication used most frequently in endodontic therapy. Materials and Methods: In this research we used: Books, websites, scientific journals (International Endodontic Journal and Journal of Endodontics), and office supplies. The universe consisted of 68 scientific articles, of which 55 articles were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Conclusion: Calcium hydroxide is the most used medication in intra-duct treatment, however, it is established that some microorganisms are resistant to this medicine, causing postoperative endodontic failure, so it is necessary to be associated with vehicles or substances to raise their success rate in antibacterial action. |
