Descripción : Even though there are many worldwide studies about hematology in the golfina turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea), in Ecuador there aren’t many studies about it, and this leaves a lot of misinformation about these animals. Since there is no information about hematology patterns of turtles in captivity associated to a deplorable health state, it is more difficult to obtain a definitive diagnosis. In Puerto López there is a rescue center of sea wildlife, where it would be important to get recent hematological values of golfina turtles to help with the treatment of the animals that reside there, and also the future animals that present the same signs. The present paper has the objective of determine different blood biometrical parameters present in the sea turtles of the species Lepidochelys olivacea in the rescue center of sea wildlife inside the National Park Machalilla where most of the turtles are there because of trauma related with the interaction with humans. To achieve this blood samples of twenty-three animals in the rescue center were taken and counting of white and red cells, determination of the hematocrit, total proteins and cellular measurement. As a result, it was observed a little variation between the studied animals and the ones used as reference, the changes were: the number of leukocyte, thrombocyte, lymphocyte and total proteins. Different values in the comparation between weight and total proteins in females, the amount of eosinofilic cells and wide of the shell in females and the amount of eosinofilic cells and the long of the shell in males.
