| Descripción : | Ecuador is a diverse, multiethnic and multicultural country, full of traditions and cultures. Each town and nationality with a unique cultural richness that characterizes them. Ecuador and each province must return to the traditions that were carried out a few years ago, in order not to lose the traditions that are cultural riches. For that reason, we are a privileged country with a large multicultural ethic. In the Ecuadorian highlands, in the province of Cañar, the Cañaris live, a Kichwa people with their unique traditions and customs such as the carnival, nowadays known as the Pawkar Raymi where they lived among the ayllus (families) and with the whole community, where with their songs they celebrated and thanked the Pacha Mama, for the fruits provided. In this documentary, the Historical Memory of the Carnival Cañari, this festival is celebrated as it was celebrated a long time ago. This work has a lot of visual and auditory power, which makes it possible to reach the general public and groups involved in the resumption of the cañar carnival party and related activities, making them participate in the launch and screening by mass media such as the internet and social networks. |
