Descripción : In Ecuador, livestock breeding, have been developed based on the culture of breeding these animals for bullfighting shows, the main problem affecting these herds are parasitic diseases, as it alters their health status, rates of growth and its hematological values. The subject was based on investigating the hematological alterations in the parasitosis, aiming to evaluate the hematological profile in cattle before and after deworming. The study was observational, longitudinal, prospective. The animals that entered the analysis were fighting cattle of different ages, young animals from 9 months of age and adults in different physiological stages such as: lactating, pregnant and other groups of males. It was worked as a single group due to the difficulty of managing the Livestock in extensive exploitation. We worked with a sample size of 19 specimens. Blood samples were used in an anticoagulant tube (EDTA) for the hemogram and in a tube without anticoagulant to evaluate the plasma protein, taken before deworming and 15 days after deworming. The samples were analyzed by analytical impedance to determine the hematological values. The results were analyzed by descriptive statistics and T-test. The haematological profile of the cattle in this study showed local peculiarities compared to other profiles in similar zones with animals of the same characteristics. In the Pre and Post deworming, a statistically significant difference was found in parameters such as: the number of neutrophils, mean corpuscular concentration of hemoglobin and plasma protein. It was concluded that the parasitic load does influence the haematological profile of the bovines in this study.
