The objective of the present study was to compare the effect of the "simulated client" tool during the anamnesis workshops, on the perception of the client, with the intervention of the students of veterinary medicine of the seventh semester 2019-1, through a survey. The study was of quasi-experimental type, because this research was based on comparing the variable before and after the subject's exposure to experimental mediation. The study was carried out in the Veterinary Simulation Center (VSC) of the University of the Americas, where four anamnesis workshops were held with the participation of several simulated clients and 37 seventh-semester students belonging to the two parallels of the subject of Diagnostic Veterinary Clinic (MEV720). The simulated clients completed surveys with 17 questions about their perception to be attended by students during the workshops, such questions are divided into the variables of communication, satisfaction, trust and attention. For the analysis of the surveys, the Wilcoxon statistical test was used, where as a result it was provided that of the 17 questions asked only the 70,58% had the p-value <0.05, that is, there was a significant difference between the before and after. As a result of the variables studied, the questions of trust and attention were those that achieved a 100% in a positive increase in the students with respect to the doctor / client interaction, while the satisfaction questions reached an increase of 60% and the of 75%, thus having a negative decrease of 40% and 25% respectively. The differences found between the variables studied helped to demonstrate that the tool enabled the student to better refine the development in terms of communication, satisfaction, confidence and attention shown to the owner of the patient.en
