Resumen : El presente plan de negocios tiene el objetivo de determinar la viabilidad comercial y financiera de la creación de una empresa dedicada al diseño y a la confección artesanal de trajes de baño de corte de lujo estilo "Swim Trunks", por parte de artesanos Otavaleños para su posterior exportación a la ciudad de Miami en Estados Unidos. Con este propósito, se realizó una investigación al entorno del mercado norteamericano y a la industria textil en el Ecuador para medir el nivel de adaptabilidad de este tipo de producto, al igual que un análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo para determinar el grado de aceptación de posibles consumidores, definiendo así un producto con un valor agregado significativo que le permite tener una ventaja competitiva, la cual fue desarrollada e implementada al mercado objetivo con un plan marketing que busca satisfacer las necesidades de este tipo de consumidor. Se definieron las estrategias de comercialización e internacionalización necesarias para promocionar el producto a un precio competitivo, identificando un punto de venta adecuado en la ciudad de Miami. De igual manera, se creó la filosofía y estructura organizacional de la empresa con un enfoque al cumplimiento de los objetivos de mediano y largo plazo, alineado a un plan de operaciones que cumpla de manera adecuada todos los procesos logísticos de exportación del producto de la empresa. El proyecto busca ofrecer un producto que muestre la belleza natural del Ecuador, con mano de obra artesanal y materiales de gran calidad. Finalmente, se realizó un modelo financiero que toma en cuenta un periodo de cinco años para sus proyecciones y valores realísticos en relación a producción y ventas, mostrando una rentabilidad para la ejecución del proyecto con un VAN y una TIR positivos, igualmente valores positivos en su IR y un Margen Neto al final del quinto año. Demostrando así la viabilidad y factibilidad financiera para la implementación del proyecto.
Descripción : The following business plan aims to determine the commercial and financial viability of the creation of a company dedicated to the design and craftsmanship of swimsuits with luxury style called "Swim Trunks" by artisans from Otavalo and export them to the city of Miami in the United States. With this purpose, an investigation was made to the North American market environment and the textile industry in Ecuador to measure the level of adaptability of this type of product, as well as a quantitative and qualitative analysis to determine the degree of acceptance of possible consumers, defining a product with a significant added value that allows it to have a competitive advantage, which was developed and implemented to the target market with a marketing plan that seeks to satisfy the needs of this type of consumer. The marketing and internationalization strategies necessary to promote the product at a competitive price were defined, identifying an adequate point of sale in the city of Miami. Likewise, the philosophy and organizational structure of the company was created with a focus on meeting the medium and long-term objectives, aligned with an operations plan that adequately meets all the company is product export logistics processes. The project seeks to offer a product that shows the natural beauty of Ecuador, with craftsmanship and high quality materials. Finally, a financial model was made that takes into account a period of five years for its projections and realistic values in relation to production and sales, showing a profitability for the execution of the project with positive values in its NPV and an IRR, positive values in their IR and a Net Margin at the end of the fifth year. Demonstrating the viability and financial feasibility for the implementation of the project.
