This project proposes the design of a process based on the construction and implementation of a statistical mathematical model simulating the prediction of transactional fraud with credit card, a process that aims to identify the Transactions more likely to be fraud, as well as being able to mark them as revised or issuing an alert to be reviewed in greater detail if it is also necessary to be able to notify the customer via an email that their transaction was blocked. The alarming indicators of fraud in transactions with a credit card evidence a very serious problem, as the behavior of a fraudsters is dynamic and changing especially because they are based on tools and technological knowledge Advanced. The high number of transactions, the volume of trades where such transactions are generated, and even the popularity of various types of electronic sales make the forms or methods to affect customers more difficult to detect each time. With this background, using the tools and the most important data and information available, a statistical mathematical model was implemented to identify fraudulent transactions, thereby reducing the effect of fraud on any institution or company where it is implemented. For the construction and implementation of the mathematical model, a logistic linear regression was used based on historical information of the clients with more than 12 million of records. In general, there is a variety of models and methodologies all with one objective in common to try to reduce the economic impact of fraud, some with better adjustment than others. The important thing is to identify the one that best suits the needs, maximizing the use of the resources that are available for that purpose.en
