Results. it was evidenced that the mild-moderate dysfunction is the one that prevails in the students. The prevalence of temporomandibular disorders is mild 69 percent and without TTM 31 percent. The incidence by gender prevails in the female gender, presenting 52.5 percent;, the masculine gender 46.2 percent. Conclusions. 53 percent have no signs or symptoms of TMD, 47 percent have at least one sign or symptom of TMD. It was demonstrated that the use of musical instruments and vocalization are predisposing factors to develop problems in the temporomandibular joint. | en |
