Descripción : The present title work refers to the integration process called Latin American Integrated Modem better known by its acronym MILA, which consists of the integration of stock exchanges and deposits of its member countries. The countries that currently make up the son of MILA: Chile, Perú, Colombia and Mexico. This entity was conceived with the purpose of generating a virtuous circle that benefits the local and international markets, contributing to increase its liquidity and increase the volume of regional business, offering a better technological and regulatory infrastructure. This research requires determining the importance of the stock market as a source of generating resources and the need to create a much stronger stock market. It shows that the benefits that Ecuador would obtain when integrating this market, what can be done through a comparative analysis of the stock markets of the countries of the world. The results of this academic essay show that the MILA has been a young project and has been a process within the Latin American region, which has benefits for its members and good results in the Latin American stock market, generating greater liquidity in the market, making it stronger and more competitive. In conclusion, it is evident that Ecuador has taken firm steps during the last four years to achieve its integration into the MILA and thus be able to implement its legislation that allows the growth and development of the stock market and its possible integration into regional projects and the possibility of to do it materialize this idea.
