Descripción : The present work of degree describes the process of professional musical production step by step of the song La Musa in genre Pop Reggae, of the Ecuadorian group Hierbas Americanas. The process is described in three sections, Preproduction, Production and Postproduction, each of which is an influential activity in the final result. Each chapter describes the decisions that were made in order to generate a production under the procedure learned throughout the career of Musical Production in each of the levels it comprises. In the Preproduction Chapter it is possible to find the history of the Reggae genre and, above all, to understand where it came from and how it was developed, which makes it easier to understand what instruments and arrangements characterize the musical genre. It is also possible to know the face of the band that interprets the central theme of the present work, timetables, budgets and in general the previous planning with which the production was initiated and concluded. In the Production Chapter, the recording is discussed and the used microphone techniques are detailed, recording decisions by instrument are required. Photographs of the moment of the recording are integrated, which makes it easier to explain the location of each microphone. In the Post-Production Chapter, technical language is used and plug-in models, brands and the calibration performed in each one are required. To clarify these terms and all those used throughout this work you can find the glossary section, which has a specific definition. Being a technical work, tables with the values that were decided on each device are included.
