dc.descriptionIn the present work, the elaboration and commercialization of almond milk for people intolerant to lactose in the north of Quito is proposed. Through the different analyzes it was determined that the target market is men and women, with medium to high income, who are between the ages of 25 and 65, and live in the north of Quito. Almond milk is a product that is aimed at a specific segment of people: lactose intolerant, people who seek to have a healthier lifestyle. That is why in the marketing plan it was defined that the general strategy to be used is the approach or specialist, which according to Lambin is: "Companies seek to concentrate on the needs of a particular segment, a group of buyers or a geographic market, without trying to cover the entire market ". (Lambin, 2009). Finally, several financial tools were used in order to determine the financial feasibility of the project, obtaining internal return rates (IRR) of 40.97% and 57.29% for both the project and for the investor, these being greater than the WACC and CAPM discount rates, so the project should be accepted.en
