The architectural project Centro Gastronómico República is located at Quito in República and Rumipamba neighborhoods, responds to the lack of public and private facilities for gastronomic and cultural education, the lack of social cohesion in the node generated by the crossing of República Av. and 10 de Agosto Av. The methodology of the project implementation is based on three phases of study: analytical, descriptive and prepositive, and three dimensions that respond to the current site: morphological, functional and the user. The objective of the project is to provide an architectural, functional and sensory space, coupled with the shape of the site arranged for Quito 2040. The project proposes an educational and practical system with the objective of involve the users with the process of closed metabolism cycle in the food culture so it is linked with the aim of diversifying human activities, in addition to satisfied basic needs. The design proposes spaces of permanence that promote social cohesion through the appearance of a contained garden by an architectural envelope perimeter building. It is related to the environment and at the same time maintains internal spatial relations with the presence vegetation, around which sensory paths are developed. The presence of the ramp allows the user to recognize the closed and open space, implicitly guiding it towards the rest of the activities that take place in the interior. In such a way that the building grows vertically, the activities are privatized, thus constituting the ground floor as an extension of the public space, while the tallest tower is the space where the knowledge of the gastronomic center is generated, the same one, which is divided from the rest of the horizontal building by the appearance of an open floor where the activities of orchards are developed, promoting a relationship between the built space and the vegetation.en
