Descripción : Snacktural CIA. LTDA. is a company dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of dried fruits snacks, products are manufactured as 100% natural, without preservatives or colorings, with a natural and modern dehydration process. The purpose of the company is to compete in the confectionery and snacking market, offering a natural product with high quality, in addition to providing all the nutrients that the original fruit contains, many health benefits and helping to the body care. Since the consumption trends are focused on healthy foods (organic and natural). The focus market of the company, in its first stage, is the population of the Metropolitan District of Quito (DMQ), focusing on the middle, upper middle and high classes of the social demographic characteristics, aimed to people who cares about their health and are conscious of eating healthily, and willing to buy the product. According to the number of people surveyed, the 82.22% of the people who are healthy care conscious are willing to purchase the product. Product sell price is set by the average market price, and according to the data obtained of the market research, prices are established within the range preferred by potential consumers. The distribution channels that will be used will be the short ones, company will work with intermediaries in order to get a better market control. It will involve the collaboration of both areas, administrative and operational staff; sales engineers, production engineer, seller and production operators, plus as the external staff that will be hired for cleaning and transporting the product monthly. Compensation includes all of the law benefits, based on legal standards set by the labor code. The initial business investment will be financed by 40% with the National Development Bank at an interest rate of 11% per annum within five years, while the 60% will be equity. Financial analysis has determined that the business is profitable in different scenarios, with a weighted average cost of capital of 13.70%, showing that the expected scenario leveraged is economically feasible.
